Blue Paradise

Upon I stare to the white covered ground, so peaceful not even a sound. The bird on the branch as if frozen in time. I can see my soul escaping with the steam of my breath. Upon my sore back I carry the weight of the numbness from my soar bones. The feeling upon me of sadness and despair, of knowing this being will be upon me for what seems like an eternity although it’s only for just a few months. The feeling of life and nature creeps in upon me one frozen degree at a time, once warm blood filled my veins, now replaced by coldness and bitterness. The heavens have brought down its beauty and grace turning everything soft and pure white like a blue cold paradise. I just sit here numb and stare can’t help but notice two furry creatures running amok in this frozen place. I see a sign I long seeked for that of a ray of sunshine to soon melt this cold frozen place. Soon all will melt in this frozen wonderland and take me away to a warm summer season that’s still but so far away.
